Gleneagles Hospital Johor

AFTER more than two months of managing three mega Covid-19 vaccination centres in Johor and administering over 250,000 doses of vaccines to people from all walks of life, Gleneagles Hospital Medini Johor is happy to have played its role in advancing the state in the National Recovery Plan.

After more than two months of managing three mega Covid-19 vaccination centres in Johor and administering over 250,000 doses of vaccines to people from all walks of life, Gleneagles Hospital Medini Johor is happy to have played its role in advancing the state in the National Recovery Plan.

Its chief executive officer Dr Kamal Amzan said the clinical support extended to ProtectHealth, set up under the Health Ministry, has shown their commitment to supporting the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme, taking into account their proven track record in providing safe and excellent care.

“We have been making preparations to become one of the vaccination centres since April 2021 and this very much-anticipated appointment from ProtectHealth allowed us to help the nation achieve herd immunity and help more people get vaccinated from Covid-19.”

Dr Kamal also said that the hospital was ever ready to serve when required by the government.

The hospital is currently administering booster doses in accordance with Health Ministry recommendations.

“Now that Johor has reached a vaccination rate of over 95%, I call upon the people of Johor who have received their booster appointments to come forward and take the shot to further protect themselves and their loved ones from the virus,” he advised.
