Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) - Real Story Sharing - Href

An 80-year-old man was admitted to our hospital following an episode of chest pain, breathlessness and loss of consciousness. He required CPR outside of the hospital and required further CPR on arrival to our hospital. He was diagnosed with a heart attack upon arrival and was promptly treated with a life-saving Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) by our Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Al Fazir.

 

He recovered well in the hospital and is now safely back at home with his family, just in time for his son's wedding reception.
