GKL Life Renewed 2018
29th November 2018 to 29th November 2018
00:00 to 00:00

Three underprivileged patients whose lives have turned around after receiving free medical treatment at Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur shared their stories to the media yesterday.

The patients are beneficiaries of ‘Life Renewed’, a corporate giving initiative by Parkway Pantai. The programme sponsors medical treatment to needy patients in its home markets of Malaysia and Singapore. Since it was launched in 2012, ‘Life Renewed’ has enabled more than 1,300 underprivileged patients gain access to the expertise of Parkway Pantai’s network of healthcare professionals and medical facilities.

In 2018, Parkway Pantai injected fresh funding of RM6 million in support of its ‘Life Renewed’ programme in Malaysia, for utilisation by its local network of 14 Gleneagles and Pantai hospitals.

Hoo Ling Lee, Chief Executive Officer of Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur, said, “We are delighted to see our ‘Life Renewed’ beneficiaries doing well after receiving treatment at our hospital. This is our small way of giving back to society by leveraging our medical expertise and facilities. At Gleneagles Kuala Lumpur, we are committed to serve the people in our community with quality healthcare services. Our aim is to continuously improve our level of care and clinical outcomes to ensure that patients from all walks of life are able to live fuller lives after walking through our doors.”
