Responsibilities*

To be responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day operations of all Facility Engineering and Biomedical Engineering activities and to supervise the service support elements under the facility management functions.
To ensure high quality of services is maintained for Civil, Electrical and Mechanical systems all times.
To advise, prepare and revise on procedures for all facility engineering and biomedical engineering operational and maintenance activities from time to time when situation arises.
To ensure continuous trainings are carried to enhance the performance and productivity of the engineering personnel to meet the desired service quality.
To ensure the Facility Management department’s operational and maintenance budgets are controlled effectively and efficiently.
To provide management report on the performance of operational and maintenance activities on a monthly basis to the Management
To assist on new projects and refurbishment works for the medical centre.
To ensure that all scheduled routine inspection, planned preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance are carried out on the time specified.
To ensure all emergency contingency plans are put in order at all times for the hospital
To response to breakdown maintenance in the specified response time required.
To ensure the medical centre utilities are maintained and operated in the most efficient and economic manner.
To carry out energy conservation programme and once implemented to maintain the energy saving systems.
To carry out other related duties as directed by the Chief Executive Officer/Chief Operating Officer.

Requirements*

Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or other related engineering discipline).
Minimum 5 years managerial relevant working experience in service industry with at least 2 years in healthcare facility environment (preferably).
Possess Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certificate is an added advantage.
