Respiratory infections in children are common. The infections usually occur in the lungs, chest, sinuses,  nose and throat. 

Many respiratory infectious germs can be passed from one person to another by;

1. Breathing in respiratory droplets from a person coughing or sneezing

2. Touching the nose, mouth, or eyes after being in contact with someone who has a respiratory infection

3. Touching another object exposed to the virus
