Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur begins its Covid-19 vaccination rollout in support of the Government’s National Immunisation Program by facilitating mass vaccination for the public.

Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur started its mass Covid-19 vaccination facilitation today in line with the Hospital’s support towards the National Immunisation Programme spearheaded by the Government by providing its venue as the Covid-19 vaccination centre or ‘Pusat Pemberian Vaksin’ (PPV).

Chief Executive Officer of Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Hoo Ling Lee said that the hospital supports this initiative by the Government as it is a crucial element in stopping the spread of Covid-19.

“We are indeed honoured to receive this responsibility from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) in this National Immunisation Programme and aim to support them in any way we can to serve the public to overcome the pandemic and break the Covid-19 chain from spreading,” she said.

At the moment, the vaccination centre will operate from Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm daily and all appointments are based on the MySejahtera application only.

“I am optimistic that with more people getting vaccinated, we will be able to flatten the curve and our communities would be safer. To echo what the Government and the Ministry of Health, I am also hopeful that more Malaysians would consider getting vaccinated as clinical data suggest that the benefits outweigh the risks,” she said.
