Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu and Alpha IVF Formalise Partnership to Strengthen Access to Fertility Care in Sabah

Kota Kinabalu, 13 March 2026 – Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu and Alpha IVF & Women’s Specialists Kota Kinabalu have formalised a strategic collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), aimed at strengthening access to specialised fertility care and enhancing integrated patient services in Sabah.

The partnership addresses the growing demand for fertility treatment in East Malaysia, where patients often face the challenge of travelling long distances to seek specialised reproductive care. By combining Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu’s multidisciplinary medical and surgical capabilities with Alpha IVF’s expertise in advanced reproductive medicine, the collaboration aims to provide patients with more convenient, coordinated and comprehensive care closer to home.

Through this collaboration, patients will benefit from improved access to fertility consultations, specialist treatments and integrated medical support within a trusted healthcare network. The partnership will also enhance continuity of care, allowing patients to receive coordinated treatment plans supported by both institutions’ clinical teams.

Dr Kelvin Ch’ng, CEO of Gleneagles Hospital Kota Kinabalu, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving healthcare access in the region.
