Computed Tomography (CT) Scanner
Gleneagles Hospital Johor is the first to provide 640 Slices CT Scanner in Johor! Our 640-slice CT Scanner incorporating cutting-edge technologies that not only meet current clinical requirements but can also serve as a new standard platform in the future. These new technologies make it possible to obtain high-quality clinical images with an ultra low exposure dose and also optimizing workflow. A fast scan and lower radiation dose may enable you to get your calcium scoring in Coronary Arteries.
Why does it important?
For early detection of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD), with presence of Calcium in the coronary arteries may indicates of plaque formation which leads to CAD. Early detection of Calcium plague will allows the early treatment and management of your heart condition to lower the risk of heart attack.

Resonance Imaging (MRI) Scanner
An MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan is a test that creates clear images of the structures inside your body using a large magnet, radio waves and a computer. The MRI system
utilizes a magnet with a high-field super-conducting system and radio-frequency pulses to examine the body’s internal organs. It is the technique of choice for imaging the brain,
spine (central nervous system) and musculoskeletal region. No radiation is involved in this procedure. The 1.5 Tesla MRI Scanner delivers exceptional quality and speed in MRI
that also produces excellent image quality with up to 40% reduction in scan times. It also has unique functionalities to increase patient comfort.
