Dr. Hoe Chee Hoong

MD (USM), MRCP (UK), FRCP (Edinburgh), Fellowship in Gastroenterology (Mal) 

Dr. Hoe has keen interest in Helicobacter pylori, viral Hepatitis B and C, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, hepatocellular carcinoma.

Dr. Hoe has vast experience in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

Dr. Hoe graduated from University of Science Malaysian in 2001. He obtained membership from Royal Colleges of Physicians United Kingdom in 2007 and further pursued fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Hospital Sultanah Bahiyah, Alor Setar and Hospital Selayang.

After completing his fellowship training in 2014, Dr. Hoe subsequently served as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Hospital Pulau Pinang where he headed the Gastroenterology unit. He is a member of the Gastroenterology Fellowship Training Programme by the Ministry of Health and a trainer for new Gastroenterology trainees.

Dr. Hoe has been active in research and has published research papers in peer-reviewed journals and gave many presentations at national Gastroenterology conferences. He is also an honorary lecturer for Royal College of Surgeons Ireland & University College Dublin Malaysia Campus.
